tailieunhanh - Enzymatic disturbances of the Egyptian beetle, Blaps polychresta (Forskål, 1775), as environmental indicators of heavy metal pollution of agricultural soils

In this study, the adult male B. polychresta as a model to evaluate the exposure risks in soil insects inhabiting three different agricultural locations. The HMs concentration and contamination indices within the soil and beetles from study sites were assessed. Moreover, the enzymatic changes and TPc were evaluated in the beetle tissue (gut, fat body, and testis) in these sites. Furthermore, we check the possible relationship interactions between enzyme activities; against HMs accumulation in the whole body tissue of beetles. |
