In this study the ITS region was isolated from F. simplicissima Ficus simplicissima Lour sample collected in Thai Nguyen by PCR nucleotide sequencing and DNA barcode phylogenetic analysis of species of the Ficus genus. The results show ITS that the ITS region sequence of the sample F. simplicissima collected in Thai Nguyen has a size of 814 bp with a high similarity rate Species identification compared with that of Ficus hirta. Phylogenetic analysis Phylogeny based on the nucleotide sequence of the ITS region has shown that the ITS sequence is a potential DNA barcode candidate that can be used to distinguish species of the Ficus genus.
