Subjects and methods A cross-sectionaldescriptive study performed with a sample size of 152 caregivers of cancer patients at the Internal Oncology Departments of K hospital from Jan 2023 to April 2023. Result 152 caregivers of cancer patients receiving chemotherapy were interviewed with a set of structured questionnaires according to the Zarit Care Burden Assessment ZBA . The majority of subjects were female mainly living in rural areas with education level from high school or higher the most common level of giving care to patients was always often the duration of caring was 6 months or longer . According to the ZBA scale of caregivers were not burdened had a mild level of burden had a moderate burden and had a severe burden. There was a statistically significant relationship between burden of care and age gt 40 years old duration of care gt 1 year and average income lt 10 million Vietnam dong. Conclusion The burden of caregivers of cancer patients receiving chemotherapy was mainly at mild and moderate levels.
