In fact a number of studies on Keywords STEAM education at preschool level have mentioned the role and awareness STEAM education of training institutions administrators and trainers about this educational awareness college student method. However the number of research works on the content of STEAM preschool education education in the university preschool teacher training program in general as well as the awareness of preschool teacher-students about STEAM education in particular is still limited. Through surveying 183 students from first to fourth year at Hanoi Metropolitan University this study find out that while freshmen s perceptions of the STEAM education contents for preschool children is still unclear sophomores and third-year students have certain knowledge but are uncertain yet fourth-year students have the most positive results despite a small proportion of ill-informed students. Finally we propose some recommendations for teachers and majors in early childhood education Hanoi Metropolitan University to raise students awareness of this content. 1.
