This paper explores the impact of budget deficits on economic growth in several Southeast Asian countries during the period of 2009-2019 using estimation methods for panel data (FEM, REM). The research results show that the budget deficit has a positive impact on economic growth within the aforementioned study and is statistically significant at the 5% significance level, foreign investment has a positive effect. |
