This species lives along the coastline in the Mekong Delta including Soc Trang and Bac Lieu Provinces. Data analysis results of 1 137 individuals 486 collected in Soc Trang from 1 2018 to 12 2018 and 651 collected in Bac Lieu from 10 2018 to 9 2019 showed that the sex ratio was close to 1 1. The species was belonged to multiple spawner category releasing eggsthroughout a year 11 12 months in Soc Trang and 12 12 months in Bac Lieu . Both male and female P. schlosseri matured firstly at the length of gt cm and this value of males was higher than that in females. Batch fecundity of this fish was in Bac Lieu 53 402 2 992 eggs females was higher than that in Soc Trang 41 822 2 700 eggs females but its egg diameter was not significantly different.
