Results The average age of both sexes was 0 8 with women coming for examinations mainly accounting for . The percentage of adults examined at the National Institute of Nutrition with Metabolic syndrome is of which HDL-C blood fat group accounts for the majority with followed by triglyceride group of . Abdominal obesity and fasting blood sugar disorders both account for an equal rate of with the lowest being hypertension . Conclusion The average age of both sexes was 40 years old but the rate of metabolic syndrome among adults coming for examination at the National Institute in Nutrition is quite high.
