In the present investigation T4 – Electric field treatment (100mA) exposure of 1 minute performed best results in field parameters like plant height (cm) 90 DAT, days to first flower initiation, number of flowers per cluster, days to first fruits set, number of fruits per cluster, number of fruits per plant, days to maturity, fruit weight (g), fruit yield per plant (kg), number of seeds per fruit, 1000 seed weight and in lab parameters like germination percentage, shoot length, root length, seedling length, fresh weight, dry weight, seed vigour index - I and seed vigour index - II followed by T6 – Electric field treatment (150mA) for 1 minute and T9 – neem leaf extract (3%) for 7 hours . |
