tailieunhanh - Báo cáo khoa học: The structural and biological significance of the EAAEAE insert in the a-domain of human neuronal growth inhibitory factor

Human neuronal growth inhibitory factor (hGIF) is able to inhibit the out-growth of neurons. As compared with the amino acid sequences of metallo-thionein 1⁄2, hGIF contains two insertions: a Thr at position 5 and an acidic hexapeptide EAAEAE(55–60) close to the C-terminus. Moreover, all mammalian growth inhibitory factor sequences contain a conserved CPCP(6–9) motif. | ỊFEBS Journal The structural and biological significance of the EAAEAE insert in the a-domain of human neuronal growth inhibitory factor Bin Cai1 Zhi-Chun Ding1 Qi Zhang2 Feng-Yun Ni1 Hui Wang3 Qi Zheng1 Yang Wang4 Guo-Ming Zhou4 Ke-Qiang Wang4 Hong-Zhe Sun3 Hou-Ming Wu2 and Zhong-Xian Huang1 1 ChemicalBiology Laboratory Department of Chemistry Fudan University Shanghai China 2 State Key Laboratory of Bio-organic and NaturalProducts Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences China 3 Department of Chemistry University of Hong Kong China 4 Department of Anatomy Histology and Embryology Medical School Fudan University Shanghai China Keywords cell culture EAAEAE insert metallothionein MT molecular dynamics simulation neuronal growth inhibitory factor GIF Correspondence .
