The purpose of this research is to assess the flavonoid content and antioxidant ability of various cardamom fruit extracts (ethanol and ethyl acetate), particularly those of 4 indigenous Indonesian accessions, and to evaluate the correlation between the antioxidant activity performed by CUPRAC and DPPH assays and the flavonoid contents. The results will provide valuable information for future studies and use cardamom for commercial purposes in a plant breeding program. |
