Anthraquinones and phenolic compounds from Cissus modeccoides

The aerial of Cissus modeccoides was collected in Binh Duong province, Vietnam. The ethanolic extract from this aerial was prepared by maceration. By liquid-liquid extraction, three extracts, n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and methanol were obtained. Three known anthraquinones 1-3 and two phenolic compounds 4-5 were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract by chromatography technique. |
