Attaining and sustaining optimal health and developmental potential for children is a shared mandate across provincial ministries. For example, the Ministry of Health Promotion (MHP) Healthy Ontarians, Healthy Ontario Strategic Framework document states, “Our fi rst priority will be our children and youth.
