The Assembly Design Workbench is used to bring together Parts (CATParts) into an assembly, which is known as a CATProduct document and as such contains no geometry but links to CATParts. CATProducts can also be made up of a mixture of smaller CATProducts and CATParts to form larger complex assemblies.
