In vitro multiplied plants possess the poor physiology due to heterotrophic nature and cannot survive in the harsh environmental conditions such as high irradiance, low relative humidity, high & low temperatures and the septic conditions when transferred from lab to land. Therefore, most of the in vitro grown species requires the acclimatization process under ex-vitro conditions to ensure the maximum survival and vigorous growth. |
