Equilibrium Concentration of vacancies in substitution binary Alloys

The Gibbs free energy of substitution binary alloys containing lattice vacancies is derived by using the statistical moment method. The equilibrium concentration of vacancies in substituion binary alloys is studied for large temperature interval up to the melting temperature taking into account of the anharmonicity of lattice vibrations. |
