The major diseases affecting chilli productions are Anthracnose, Phytopthora, Leaf blight, Fusarium wilt, bacterial wilt, damping-off and root rot etc. Among these, Fusarium wilt caused by the Fusarium oxysporum has emerged as a serious problem in recent year.
