The present investigation was prevailed to examine the 31 greengram genotypes along with one check (Samrat). Maximum genotypic coefficient of variation and phenotypic coefficient of variation were recorded for number of primary branches per plant, seed index, number of clusters per plant and seed yield per plant. High genetic advance was recorded for harvest index, plant height. High heritability coupled with high genetic advance as percent of mean was recorded for number of primary branches per plant and Seed yield per plant exhibited positive significant association with plant height, number of clusters per plant, number pods per plant and harvest index. | Selection strategy for yield improvement in F3 generation of greengram (Vigna radiata (L.)
