So we are moving away from a one-size-fits-all model towards individual city deals. We want cities to come to us with ambitious proposals on what they will do to support private sector growth and what powers and freedoms they need to make this happen. But these deals are two way - cities will need to show strong leadership and deliver real growth and jobs for their communities.
