Polypropylene PP -short bamboo fiber composites have been carried out research systematically in Polymer Centre of Hanoi University of Technology and Composites mentioned above were used for manufacturing pallrings which are applied for washing and absorption scrubbers. In this work bamboo fiber mat reinforced PP have been studied. The results show that tensile and flexural strengths attained the maximum value MPa and 54 MPa respectively at 57 volume content of bamboo fiber. Whereas impact strength gained the maximum value KJ m2 at 62 volume content of bamboo fiber. Cumulative probability of bamboo fiber mat reinforced PP BFMRP composite with respect to tensile strength. It was confirmed that the tensile strength of BFMRP was times higher than that of neat MAPP PP. I - INTRODUCTION In Vietnam 102 species with 19 genuses of bamboo family are recorded. But the most popular is Dedrocalamus membranaceus Munro Luong in Vietnamese . It has been selected forestation in the provinces from the North Central to the Centre Area of Vietnam. To replace glass fiber fully or partly for application in polymer composites the marking bamboo fiber mat and evaluation of mechanical properties of composites have been carried out. II - EXPERIMENTAL 1. Materials Commercial polypropylene PP and the maleated polypropylene MAPP were used as the matrix of the composite.
