The Total Suspended Solids (TSS) standard identified in the USEPA Cluster Rules for New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) is the benchmark for existing mills, as Alberta mills currently apply the technology required to achieve this standard. The original EIS submitted for the existing operations outlined the preliminary plans for a future mill expansion.
