During my presentation this morning, I will provide you with some background information about Viet Nam, my institution (NIHE), and the Asia-Pacific Strategy for Emerging Diseases. I will then share some data on selected diseases affecting South East Asian countries, including data specific to Viet Nam. I will use those diseases to identify some areas of scientific interest, as well as possible methods for collaboration.
