The workshop commenced with Dr Geoff Allan (NSW DPI) and Mr Jacob Wani (NFA) welcoming all the participants (see Appendix for full list). Each participant, including lecturers, was then asked to formally introduce themselves and their affiliation. The group was then introduced to the workshop materials and advised of the workshop agenda (see Appendix ).
