tailieunhanh - Tài liệu tiếng anh về hợp chất PCP - PENTACHLOROPHENOL
This report contains the collective views of an international group of experts and does not necessarily represent the decisions or the stated policy of the United Nations Environment Programme, the International. | The indoor air data suggest that, at least during the first weeks following indoor treatment, and occasionally for quite prolonged periods of time, the ADI level of 180 µg/person per day is significantly exceeded. Under these circumstances, there is a potential health risk. This conclusion is supported, in part, by reports of signs and symptoms similar to those in persons occupationally exposed to PCP (dermatosis, nausea, headache, dizziness, fatigue). These signs and symptoms are most likely associated with the effects of the PCP molecule and, in some cases, the solvents associated with the wood treatment chemicals used. The long-term significance of exposure to low levels of PCDDs and PCDFs and their accumulation in human tissues is not entirely clear; however, at least 2 isomeric groups of the PCDDs family are carcinogenic for animals. Animal data indicate that low concentrations of PCP in biological tissues or body fluids do not signify an absence of biologically active PCDDs and PCDFs.
