Đề tài tài luận án "Ảnh hưởng của chủ nghĩa hậu hiện đại đối với tiểu thuyết Việt Nam từ 1986 đến 2010", nhằm góp phần khẳng định những giá trị thực sự của bộ phận tiểu thuyết theo khuynh hướng hậu hiện đại. Trên cơ sở nghiên cứu có tham khảo tư liệu của những người cùng thời, tác giả muốn tạo dựng một cái nhìn toàn cảnh về sự hình thành và từng phát triển của tiểu thuyết theo dạng này. | Althougth there are different notions and understandings about character issues, it is always a central category of literary creation. Character category dominates the narrative mode and the narrative operation, dominates the artistic craft, the texture handling skills, coordinating the poetry of narrative function. Category of character situated in the central of the concept of texture, suggesting the possibilities of perception. Only it can create a new point of view inside and outside, local and overall, both intentional actors and intentional objects of entire creative activity of man. Even language, an estimating stand-alone category with characters and only related to characters in interaction, references and hermeneutic, is only a part of the characters: characters create language and language builds characters. Nothing in human perception does not save the sign of human existence. Postmodern novel is still an art form to write about people, but put them in a new understanding, a new awareness and new relationships. The humanist from modern to earlier time interfered the concept of human, turning it into a metaphysical entity, within the natural lack awareness frames. Humans become a convention of the community consciousness and unconsciousness, of which built-up pressure has gradually pushed it towards extreme awareness about life and about themselves. Postmodern literature desires to put the human into their true meaning, created from nothing and return to nothing. But before becoming nihilistic, people must have a period of time facing mixed padding, living with memories, living in anguish and torment, as the "grass" (Walt Whitman) and still trying to rise up and hope to survive. Thus, people in postmodern literature is presented by perception of "chaos - nothing". Apparently, this is a reflection of negative perception.
