Depending on the purpose of the classification, various factors and criteria are considered (. example the ecosystem functions, the end-use of the product, type of users, economic value, property regimes, management characteristics, etc.). However, none of the classification schemes are universal, and all of them have advantages or disadvantages, depending on the context of their application.
