The rescue robots must function in extremely hazardous and very complex disaster environments moreover the composition of rubble in the disaster area varies due to regional circumstances and types of disasters etc. Hence it is very important to develop mobile mechanisms that enable robots to travel across such the rubble and access to the interior of the rubble pile.
