For example they are frequently used for the study of distributed networks containing lossless transmission lines see Hale 1 . In the past few years many studies have been carried out on the oscillation and nonoscillation of solutions of various types of neutral functional differential equations. We refer the reader to the papers 2-22 and the references cited therein.
