The Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) has the power to hear tenancy disputes. If the RTA cannot help you resolve a bond dispute, it will issue a Notice of Unresolved Dispute. For bond disputes the person who receives a Notice of Unresolved Dispute has seven days in which to apply to the Tribunal for a hearing and notify the RTA.
