For example you might type the word Monday in your spreadsheet and then use AutoFill to automatically enter the remaining days of the week. Alternatively you might type January and then use AutoFill to enter the remaining months of the year. In addition to automating data entry using predefined data lists such as the ones described in the preceding paragraph you can create your own custom data lists for use with Excel s AutoFill feature.
