The Club currently recycles 70 of the waste generated and is working to increase this. All of the printed materials we produce are printed by a local company Advek a member of the Forrest Stewardship Council. 98 of the items we produce are printed on recycled paper. Printers are set to print in black and white and double sided as standard using recycled printer paper. Energy And Water Usage Bore-hole water sourcing has been introduced at the Bodymoor Heath training ground for use in pitch irrigation. The Club is replacing all of the old screw taps with water-saving push taps in all toilet blocks throughout the concourses. Smart flush is being installed on all urinals across the stadium. Aston Villa operates a Trend Control System which allows heating lighting and all electrical equipment to be controlled remotely in zones. The stadium management team ensures only the zones in use are powered. The Club maintained a positive trend in decreasing electricity usage since 2004. The Club runs a structured travel plan which aims to significantly reduce the number of cars .
