An actual similarity of seasonal changes of the surface ozone concentration in Minsk and Preila their identical dependence on the temperature for the spring maximum indicate that both stations most of the time are affected by the same field of the tropospheric ozone originated from a global circulation of air masses in the Northern hemisphere. Only local factors specifically modulate this field resulting in differences of daytime results of measurements and a diurnal course.
