This program is an ongoing process to identify and screen contaminated sites in low and middle-income countries. The goal of TSIP is to identify point-source pollution coming from contaminated sites that present a risk to public health. The TSIP database includes information on the concentration. | 314 CMR DIVISION OF WATER POLLUTION CONTROL 314 CMR GROUND WATER DISCHARGE PERMIT PROGRAM Section Purpose Authority and Scope Definitions Discharges Requiring a Permit Other Activities Requiring a Permit Activities Not Requiring a Permit Restrictions on the Issuance of a Permit Effect of a Permit Continuation of an Expiring Permit Duty to Submit Hydrogeological Evaluation Application for a Permit Permit Conditions Ground W ater Standards Modification Suspension Revocation Renewal and Transfer of Permits General Permits Signatories to Permit Applications N otices of Intent and Reports Requirements for Privately Owned Wastewater Treatment F acilities General C onditions Purpose Authority and Scope 314 CMR establishes the program whereby discharges of pollutants to the ground waters of the Commonwealth are regulated by the Department pursuant to . c. 21 27 and 43.
