The prevention and treatment of human papilloma virus is discussed including indications for the vaccine. Urinary tract infections affect most of the women in our practice. Diagnosis and current treatment strategies of primary and recurrent urinary tract infections are delineated. Ovarian and breast disorders are common and are a concern for many women. These topics are expanded upon. As women age osteoporosis and fecal incontinence limit the quality of life of many of our patients. Understanding management strategies is a goal of this edition. One of the most challenging problems that a gynecologist faces female sexual dysfunction is explored in detail.
