Thirty farmers were interviewed for a better understanding on the system and identifying the appropriate technical aspects in order to modify it more effectively. The results show that prawn was reared in ponds ranging from 450 to 3000 m2 and the stocking duration was from April to October with stocking duration of 4 to 8 months. Seed was mainly suppliedfrom the hatcheries total number of grow-out farmers the remaining of was from wild seed. Stocking density was from 4 to 20 pieces m2 and snail mud crab and pellet feed were used. Average survival rate was 23 ranged from 5 to 48 and average yield was 592 kg ha crop varied from 167 to 1 120 kg ha crop . Average income was 8 382 324 VND ha crop with an average ratio of gross return total variable cost of . It is recommended that the province should has a better planning for each cultured areas especially a better irrigation system and encourage the local reproduction of this species. The supports aiming to obtain successfulness of demonstration sites should go in hands with encouraging the farmers to utilise available water bodies for prawn culture. Mục tiêu là tìm hiểu rõ hơn về mô hình này và xác định được các yếu tố kỹ thuật hợp lý nhằm cải tiến mô hình nuôi đạt hiệu .
