Fish were stocked at the density of 25 fish m2 andfed with different protein levels 23 CP 26 CP 32 CP corresponding for 3 treatments 3 replicates for each . The experiment was set up by using completely randomized design CRD procedure. Fish growth rate was determined monthly by weighing randomly 100 individuals per pond. Fish were fed adlibitum 2 times a day at 7 AM and 16 PM. The results indicated that the specific growth and survival rate of fish over months of cultured period in pond was not significantly different among treatments P andfinal fish weight ranging from 54 to 56 g individual. The pellet feed 32 CP was suggested as suitable for rearing fish in first two months 26 CP for third month and 23 CP for others. Economical analysis indicated that pellet feed 23 CP was the most profitable for Climbing perch culture. Keywords Anabas testudineus pellet climbing perch Title Trials on intensive culture system of Climbing perch Anabas testudineus using differents pellets TÓM TẮT Thí nghiệm nuôi thâm canh cá Rô đồng bằng thức ăn viên với các hàm lượng đạm khác nhau được bố trí hoàn toàn ngẫu nhiên trong 9 ao đất 100m2 tại Ô Môn Cần Thơ từ tháng 5-11 năm 2004. Mật độ thả nuôi là 25 con m2 thức ăn viên gồm 3 loại có hàm lượng đạm khác nhau 23 CP 26 CP 32 CP . Kết quả thí nghiệm cho thấy trong quá trình nuôi các yếu tố môi trường được ghi nhận thích hợp cho sự phát triển của cá Rô đồng. Tốc độ tăng trưởng tỷ lệ sống của cá sau 4 5 tháng nuôi không khác nhau có ý nghĩa thống kê P 0 05 và trọng lượng cá đạt 54 - 56 g con .
