With your new understanding of color you will find yourself recognizing satisfying color everywhere in nature perhaps most vividly in flowers where complementary colors and varied attributes are clearly evident able to be appreciated at close range. In any flower shop you can observe nature s genius with color. You will see violet markings on yellow flowers red-violet flowers with yellow-green leaves dull red-orange flowers with dull blue-green leaves. On a single flower petal you will see color values that range from pure white to the brightest red perhaps echoed and contrasted by variegated green-and-white leaves. You will see intensity variations from bright orange at the tips of petals dulled to nearly black-brown at the flower s center.
