The faster you learn to work with the interface the more productive you ll become. The more you use Revit the more you ll find that certain commands are better suited for certain tasks. For example you ll develop a sense of when to copy and paste an element and when to move it and when to use the spacebar instead of the Rotate tool. There are also some tools that are less obvious but that you should still get acquainted with such as the Join Geometry tools and the Split Face and Paint tools.
