Revised 22 3 2024 However no such research has been conducted at Tay Nguyen Published 22 3 2024 University. This study employed a survey method with a pre-designed questionnaire based on a 5-point Likert scale administered to 250 KEYWORDS students at the university. Using SPSS software the study identified three key factors affecting student participation in scientific Scientific research research at Tay Nguyen University ranked by their level of impact Tay Nguyen University Research motivation Student and Lecturer support. Both Research Student motivation and Student had a positive impact on students research participation while surprisingly Lecturer support exhibited a negative Students participation influence. Furthermore analysis revealed no significant correlation Research motivation between students research participation and two separate factors University policy and Facilities. This study aims to equip educational administrators at Tay Nguyen University with a deeper understanding of the key factors influencing students participation in scientific research. Such insight will enable the university to develop effective policies and activities to encourage and promote a thriving research culture among its students.
