Cấp phát thuốc cho người bệnh nội trú luôn được quan tâm và không ngừng cải tiến để nâng cao chất lượng. Giải pháp cấp phát thuốc tự động hoặc bán tự động ngày càng được áp dụng rộng rãi tại các bệnh viện trên thế giới. Automated and semi-automatic drug dispensing solutions are increasingly applied in hospitals in the world. Aim This study was conducted to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the semi- automatic inpatient drug dispensing system at the 108 Military Central Hospital. Method A qualitative study was implemented. 4 pharmacists and 4 nurses who had experienced with both manual drug delivery and conveyor drug delivery were in-depth interviewed. The participants agreed to record the interview. Content analysis was used in this study. Results The advantages of drugs delivery by conveyor were saving time saving manpower reducing drug errors reducing psychological pressure simple conveyor system operation refrigerated drugs with better storage conditions. However this system had disadvantages such as load limitation and vibration no direct comparision between pharmacists and nurses transporting medicine to the wrong department. Some solutions have been proposed to overcome these disadvantages lịke building an intravenous warehouse at the high-usage departments using a camera system to manage and writing information of departments on the barrel lid. Conclusions Semi-automatic drug dispensing brings many bene ts to hospitals.
