Subjects and methods A cross-sectional study was conducted to describe a survey using a questionnaire among 420 healthcare staff members. Results According to the HSOPSC-VN2015 measurement scale assessing the overall level of patient safety culture the proportion of healthcare staff members with positive responses was the proportion with neutral responses was and the proportion with negative responses was . The criteria of Individual Punishment for Mistakes Incidents and Handoffs and Transitions of Patient Care between Departments Units had a lower proportion of positive responses in the staff members. Conclusion The patient safety culture at the hospital has achieved a good level and the high proportion of positive responses has contributed to ensuring patient safety at the hospital.
