This study was conducted to investigate the current Published 05 7 2022 situation of counseling service for sexual-abused children in some provinces. With a questionnaire combined with interviews with a group of 15 counselors Keywords who were experienced and qualified in counseling and psychotherapy for Childhood sexual-abuse sexual-abused children the researchers explored the reality of this service in counseling psychological Vietnam. The results focus on four main issues 1 The counseling process for trauma sexual abuse sexual-abused children was inconsistent with multiple conflicting opinions 2 There were 3 signs that identify a child being sexual-abused by the counselor s observations fear and vigilance difficulty sleeping and fear of darkness desire for privacy or isolation 3 The counselors were fully and scientifically aware of the psychological trauma of sexual-abused children from theory to practice 4 The use of psychological assessment tools for sexual-abused children was limited and mainly through clinical observation. These findings are an important practical basis to develop the field of counseling for sexual-abused children in Vietnam in a humane and scientific manner. 1. Mở đầu Hiện nay thuật ngữ xâm hại tình dục XHTD được sử dụng nhiều hơn trong các bài báo cáo và tạp chí so với thuật ngữ lạm dụng tình dục LDTD . Tuy nhiên ở Việt Nam chưa có một công trình nghiên cứu hệ thống nào về XHTD và LDTD trẻ em cũng chưa có một định nghĩa chính thức nào của cơ quan thẩm quyền về hai khái niệm .
