Thus the structure of antibiotics used in our hospital is appropriate. However it is necessary to strengthen inspection and supervision of de- escalation for a number of parenteral infusion antibiotics being used at the hospital according to the guidance of the Ministry of Health Vietnam for streamlining the use of antibiotics one of the strategies being intravenous to oral antibiotic switch.
