A simple, rapid, precise, accurate, reproducible, economic and eco-friendly analytical method for the quantification of piroxicam in tablet dosage form, using attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATRFTIR), has been developed. The measurements were based on the ATR technique, wherein there is no sample preparation, except for pulverizing the tablet, thereby eliminating the use of toxic chemicals or solvents. |
