This article describes the difference of morphological and structural characteristics of the roots of Calamus plants growing in those two relatively distinct environments. The result showed that the roots of Calamus express the general characteristics of monocots; there was no secondary growth; the vasculation of the pillar demonstrated many differences to that of a general monocot. |
