The special structure softwares are often used to analyze the behaivour and design the struture above with the model which assumes that the supperstructure is fixed at the foot of the reinforced concrete columns and core walls. In this design concept assuming the above structures fixed at the base means that the building is built on hard ground without settlement and does not really simulate the true behaviour of the building. The reason is that the ground is not completely hard which results in irregular settlement of the ground. This settlement between coulumns will lead to the increasing internal force values in the superstructure above. The reason for the conventional concept has been used up to now is that it is difficult to model a whole system including supperstructure foundation system and soil to ananlyze the soil-structure interaction. However today as a result of the development of finite element software this problems can be solved. In this study PLAXIS 3D will be used to ananlyse the behaviours of the superstructure-foundation- soil system working together. After analysis the results of calculating the settlement according to the construction time the results of the raft-pile load distribution and the vertical force values in the piles were compared with the field-measured values to prove the reliability of PLAXIS 3D finite element software for simultaneous analysis of superstructure-foundation-soil system behavior.
