tailieunhanh - Study of antimicrobial resistance profile of coagulase negative staphylococcus species isolated from the oral cavity of Indian cobra (Naja naja)

Snake bite is a major public health concern which can cause bacterial infection along with envenomation. The infection may be due to the bacteria present in mouth of venomous or nonvenomous snake which may contaminate the bite site during biting. In the present study coagulase negative Staphylococcus species from the oral cavity of two Indian cobras were isolated and identified and were screened for its biofilm forming ability using bentonite clay as a substrate. |
