The present study was conducted during a one year period (Jan 2013 to Dec 2013). A total of 100 patients with Cirrhotic liver and ascites were included in this study. Gram stain and culture were performed. Antibiotic susceptibility testing was performed by Kirby Bauer disc diffusion method on Mueller Hinton agar. Out of 100 patients, 36 patients were diagnosed as having SBP. |
