tailieunhanh - DUS characterization of some released varieties and advanced breeding lines of soybean (Glycine max L.) under Punjab Agroclimatic conditions

The study revealed that flower color and hypocotyl pigmentation could be used as critical morphological characters for ascertaining varietal distinctiveness amongst genotypes. Of the 22 genotypes, few were utterly unique as they could be distinguished based on a single trait while the majority were very closely related. Cluster analysis revealed that the 22 genotypes could be grouped into four major clusters, whereby 13 genotypes were found to be unique based on at least one character and others could be distinguished based on a set of traits rather than a single trait. |
