In view to invigorate hybrid rice breeding and exploration of heterosis in untapped, low productive genetic pool of non-basmati aromatic rice, altogether thirtyF1’s were generated in L x T design fashion with thirteen parents (3 testers and 10 lines), and were evaluated along with the parents to unravel the combining ability for 28 yield and yield contributing traits.
