tailieunhanh - Correlations of fresh sperm quality and kinematic attributes to those of post-thawed sperms of bulls assessed by CASA

A study was carried out on semen of nine healthy mature breeding bulls (3 each of Gir, Surti and Murrah breed) to evaluate the correlations of their fresh sperm quality attributes to those of frozen thawed semen assessed both by subjective method and objective technique using Biovis CASA. The ejaculates immediately after collection were evaluated for routine seminal attributes. The ejaculates (n=72, 24 of each breed) having >75% initial motility were diluted @ 80 million sperm/ml using TFYG extender and were assessed for motility, morphology, viability and hypo-osmotic swelling test (HOST) subjectively, and for motion characteristics by Biovis CASA. | Correlations of fresh sperm quality and kinematic attributes to those of post-thawed sperms of bulls assessed by CASA
